It’s amazing what a legacy can be achieved with a little hard work and determination.
Anderson Excavating, in Baldwin, Wisconsin is one of those achievements. Anderson Excavating is a nearly 74-year old business with deep family connections. The company was established in 1947 in Woodville, WI, by Robert J. Anderson (current owner Joe Anderson’s grandfather) with just two pieces of equipment – a flatbed truck and a Ford tractor with a tip bucket. Ten years later, the company grew so quickly that it was relocated to Baldwin where it is still based.
“I started running equipment at the age of four and I am still ‘playing’ in the dirt,” Joe Anderson laughed. “In November 2006, my wife Robin, and I bought the company and operate it today. I really love what I do, and hope to pass it on to my children.”
